Personal identification: Full name, CNIC number, phone number, email address, and National Tax Number (NTN).
Financial data: Salary slips, income details, tax computation data, and property/vehicle information you provide for tax calculations.
Account data: Google account information used for authentication (name, email, profile picture).
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, calculator inputs, and interaction patterns to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used exclusively for:
Filing your income tax return with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) via IRIS.
Registering your National Tax Number (NTN) with FBR/PRAL.
Calculating your tax liability and potential savings.
Communicating filing status, deadlines, and service updates.
Improving our AI extraction accuracy and service quality.
3. Data Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures:
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
Salary slips and financial documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage with restricted access.
Only your assigned certified CPA and authorized system administrators can access your filing data.
We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
FBR/PRAL: As required to file your tax return and register your NTN.
Your assigned CPA: Certified tax professionals who review and file your return.
Payment processors: JazzCash and Easypaisa for processing your service payments (they do not receive your tax data).
5. Data Retention
We retain your tax filing records for 6 years in compliance with Pakistan tax law requirements. You may request deletion of your account and non-legally-required data at any time by contacting support.

Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your account (subject to legal retention requirements).

7. Cookies & Analytics
We use PostHog (product analytics) and Meta Pixel (ad measurement) to understand how visitors interact with our service.
Session recordings: Recorded with all form inputs masked at source. Your CNIC, NTN, salary slips, bank account numbers, and payment screenshots never leave your browser as part of a replay — only layout, click positions, and non-sensitive text are sent to PostHog.
Identifiers: A cross-subdomain analytics cookie scoped to .taxfiler.ai links your landing-page visit to your account so we can measure which marketing channels lead to filings.
Do Not Track: We honor the browser DNT signal — visitors with DNT enabled are not recorded.
